Antique weekend in Grand River
A 32-year tradition returns August 9-10 in Cayuga.
The Grand River Antique Society is hosting its 32nd annual Antique Weekend event at Bruce’s Landing, 1019 Haldimand Road 17 in Cayuga. The two-day event will feature a variety of activities.
Saturday will feature antique and classic vehicles, along with log sawing and threshing demos. There will be garden tractor pulls at 11 a.m., with antique tractor pulling at 1 p.m. There is also a horseshoe throwing tournament beginning at 1.
Sunday activities will once again feature antique and classic vehicles on display, as well as the log sawing and threshing demos. There will be the parade in the park at 11 a.m., as well as another antique tractor pull at 1 p.m.
The gates open each day for the activities at 9 a.m. Donations can be made at the gate. Vendors are also wanted for this year’s antique weekend.
